I value the opportunity to invest time in capturing life’s fleeting moments. With enthusiasm and ambition, I find and share the stories that distinguish a business and community.
I hold a master's degree and bachelor of science from Central Michigan University where I studied photojournalism and communication. While attending CMU, I worked as a staff photographer at the campus’ student newspaper, Central Michigan Life.
I have interned at Major League Baseball in New York, New York for two consecutive summers. I have also held internships at the Jackson Citizen Patriot in Jackson, Mich., at Kenai Fjords National Park in Seward, Alaska and at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Mass. I have freelanced for various mid-Michigan newspapers and participated in photography workshops including the National Geographic weekend expedition in San Francisco and the Northern Short Course in Photojournalism in Fairfax, VA.
The Michigan Collegiate Press Association, Michigan Press Photographers
Association, The Hearst Journalism Awards Program and the Society of
Professional Journalists have recognized my work. Most recently, my still work has been published by Major League Baseball, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Fox Sports, and Yahoo Sports.
